Canaanland Christian School Newsletter

January 2022

Dear Parents,

We will be having Georgia Bulldogs vs Alabama Crimson Tide Day on Monday, January 10.  Students may wear shirts and caps of either team on that day.  If not, they must wear their regular uniform shirt.  GO DAWGS!

Our next PTF Meeting will be Monday, January 24 at 7:30 p.m.  We ask that at least one parent or guardian be present and please do not bring children to the meeting.

We have revised our COVID policy to 5 days quarantine as recommended by the CDC.  If someone in your household tests positive, students may return after 5 days.

If your child is going home with another student after school, we need a note, text or phone call from a parent or guardian of both students before the end of the day.

Just a reminder, when the weather is bad we will follow the Murray County School System.  If they are closed (not delayed) for inclement weather, then we will be closed as well (not delayed).  We will post it on our Facebook group and our website.  We will also attempt to put message on the school answering machine if possible.  We will also do our best to have it posted on Chattanooga News Channel 9.

Paper products are an ongoing need throughout the school year.  Please help as much and as often as possible.  (3 oz./5 oz. cups, paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, paper plates, etc.)  Also, help with disinfectant wipes & spray is much appreciated.

Please download the Box Tops app if you haven’t already, it’s quick and easy.  It allows you to automatically give your box tops to our school.

Thank you,

Mr. Johns.
